NORTH
Studio North is an annual, week long design/build blitz in Norwich, Vermont, founded by architects Keith Moscow and Robert Linn. Students from around the world come for this intimate gathering for something of a construction meditation, the result being an object that impacts only the ground it rests upon and the education it provides in its creation. For the summer of 2016, the project revolved around the concept of a camera: a box allowing in a single point of light. In this case, the camera was an elliptical interior with a small portal at its bow projecting a view. The mobile object can be transported anywhere it deems fit, its purpose to honor a moment, a single visual of rural Vermont.
